On the Widow's Walk

This morning, like all mornings, I took to the Widow's Walk and cast my eyes to the horizon in search of a mast. As every morning since I began my lonesome vigil, the sea provided no answer or respite of my long vigil. Resolute, I stood, the salt of the sea air stinging my eyes, and cloying at my hair. I stood, trying to pierce the veil of the endless horizon betwixt the twin mirrors of sea and sky. But there was nought a ship to be spied. The horizon remained as opaque as the glass of the sea.
It has been nought two months since my darling script left for the fabled printers of the Far East to make his way and fortune, promising to sail back, his likeness redoubled a thousandfold and more. When the journey started and I watched his ship leave port, I was awash with anticipation and excitement, but his absence has been an endless weight upon my patience. I have faith still in my dear sweet script that he will return as promised so that the multitudes my know his joys and the pleasure of his company as I have. For what is a story that is not shared? It is but a dream. A thing insubstantial of mist and tricks of the light. No, I knew this adventure would be necessary, and though the wait is long and no bird or spry messenger with paper and postage has made its way to my hand bringing news good or foul, I know that when my script returns to me, this doldrum period of anticipation will be a thing forgotten as swiftly as the chill of a spring morning.
But until that rapturous day, I take myself up to the widow's walk and cast my eyes to the horizon.

It's been quiet on the winter front, I know, but that is only because we've been quietly working to greatness. It's true! Science says so. Don't believe me? Here's the proof!
That's right! We've got proof back from the printers and they're gorgeous. So the books are off to press! We'll be back with more exciting details as they develop.

Backerkit Surveys

And a marvelous holiday season to you all! The year is rapidly coming to a close, the days will soon start getting longer, and comics will be going to press shortly.
I know I said the backer surveys would be going out weeks ago. I goofed on that. Turns out, the system really discourages you from sending those surveys before the initial 14 day collection period is over. But we're past that now! Huzzah!
In the next couple of days you should be receiving an email from Backerkit.com inviting you to fill out your pledge survey. Please click the link in that email and fill out your survey. No log in is necessary. No sign ups. No account. Just a couple of quick and easy questions so we can get you your sweet sweet comics delivered to your door.
Not sure if you'll still be living where you are currently by the time we start shipping in March? No problem. The surveys will be editable until just before we go to ship. We'll send out an announcement that we're locking the surveys down about a week before it happens. You'll have plenty of notice to change things if you need to, so please don't wait to fill those surveys out. Do it as soon as you can. We really want to make sure you get your books and we can't do that if we don't know where to send them.

Book 3 Kickstarter is a Wrap!

Greetings Sentinels!
We did it! We successfully completed our 3rd Kickstarter! With the help of generous sentient beings such as yourself, we were able to raise over $35,000! You folks are amazing!
We're already hard at work, getting the books ready for press and finalizing things on the backend. We're not slacking off on this just because the campaign is over. We're firing on all cylinders, and you can expect backer surveys to end up in your emails by the weekend.
Please fill out your survey promptly.
The sooner those surveys get filled out, the sooner we can go to print, the sooner we can start shipping, the sooner you get amazing comics delivered to your doorstep.

With mere hours to go, we pulled it out and acquisitioned ourselves a third stretch goal! The companion volume Tales From Zicuri Ro will now expand to include a second story, never before seen by human eyes!
